She set up her own catering company, Bear Claw Catering in 2015 after working in a five-star country hotel, and then alongside Michel Roux Jr and Jamie Oliver at the Taste of London Festivals. Her passion is to create incredible menus, memorable occasions and delighted customers.

"James and I were very lucky to find Bear Claw to cater for our wedding. From the first interaction through to the day itself, Jes and the team have been efficient, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Jess has a clear passion for food, which shone through in the fantastic menu choices she created for us. Putting these to the test through a tasting at Bear Claw HQ was a real highlight of the wedding planning, and gave us time to really consider what we wanted our guests dining experience to look and taste like.
We also asked Bear Claw to provide staff for not only the wedding breakfast, but also serving drinks and running the bar throughout the day and evening which worked perfectly. The service throughout the day was superb, we didn't need to worry about a thing and were able to simply enjoy ourselves."
