Emmaus is a national charity which provides a home and work for men and women many of whom have been previously homeless or unemployed. It gives people a chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment. Emmaus Brighton & Hove is situated in Portslade Old Village and opened its doors in 1997. There are currently 24 Emmaus Communities in the UK of which EB&H is the largest offering accommodation to 40 men and women.
