Clare Box PG Dip Psy Coun MBACP(Accred) I offer short term of longer term counselling in the Brighton and Hove area.
I'm a fully qualified and accredited counsellor with a wealth of experience working with a broad range of issues. I specialise in psychodynamic counselling but have experience working with more skills based approaches like CBT, solution based therapy. Together we can find an approach that will suit an individuals needs. Helping to bring about positive change and growth. Over the years I have worked with a broad range of issues from Anxiety and Depression, Eating disorders, low self esteem, bullying, OCD, issues in relationships. Whatever you may be experiencing we can work together to find a way to help change negative thoughts or cycles of behaviour.
Along with my private practice I have worked in University Counselling Services, so have a broad experience of working with young adults and the issues that arise at this time of life. An initial phone conversation can help find the right time and place to help start the process towards counselling, or an appointment to talk face to face to discuss options. The location and time can be suited to your needs.
If you are a counsellor who is seeking a supervisor, I also offer supervision in groups or as an individual. Please call me to discuss any needs you might have.
I can offer a sliding scale payment if you are on a low income and can except cash or by Bacs transfer.
